Hipster shaving soap in the line of shaving products by Stirling Soap Co. is distinguished by a special fragrance. It was created by the brand’s perfumers in an attempt to get a composition that organically complements the typical image of a modern hipster in a plaid shirt with a cup of coffee in his hands. Light floral notes tinged with vetiver are replaced by warm and slightly rough shades of natural leather, wood, coffee, musk and amber.
The soap is handmade and enriched with natural skin-care ingredients:
- castor oil is a natural conditioner that accelerates skin recovery after classic wet shaving;
- vegetable glycerin — moisturizes and softens the skin;
- almond oil — gives skin firmness, elasticity, smooths and makes bristles docile;
- lanolin — softens and nourishes the skin, eliminates peeling and tightness, heals microcracks;
- coconut milk — disinfects, makes hair manageable and deeply moisturizes the skin.
Hipster soap lather is easy to whip up with any type of pile anointing. Firm and slippery, it makes it easy to glide the razor without leaving redness or irritation.
For men with very dry and irritation-prone skin, as well as very stiff stubble, we recommend pre-shaving with a special pre-shave oil or cream. For example, a few drops of Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 Bay Rum 5 minutes before shaving will create a protective barrier between the blade and the skin and prevent damage.
