Aftermath was first introduced in 2021 and became one of HAGS’s most distinctive fragrance compositions. To mark the brand’s fifth anniversary, the manufacturer has reintroduced it in its original formula-without changing the notes or proportions. The new packaging continues the narrative of the original release: the mysterious astronaut, once found beneath the surface of an alien planet, now takes center stage. This collectible series is limited to 300 pieces.
The fragrance opens with tart notes of oregano, black pepper, and bergamot. These are followed by frankincense, opoponax, amber, and labdanum, which form a dense, resinous heart. Oud, leather, sandalwood, and patchouli create a dark, dry, and long-lasting base. The fragrance is inspired by Amouage’s Interlude Man, but is HAGS’s own interpretation.
CORTEX X shaving soap has a soft, semi-solid consistency. It’s easy to scoop up with a shaving brush, and you can adjust the thickness of the lather by gradually adding water. The resulting lather ensures a smooth razor glide, protects the skin during shaving, and maintains comfort even after the bulk of the lather has been removed. Squalane, glycerin, jojoba, aloe, panthenol, allantoin, lanolin, and silk proteins complement the base’s performance properties with skin care benefits.
This alcohol-free toner is ideal for those who dislike the characteristic stinging sensation and drying effect of traditional alcohol-based toners. The formula is based on witch hazel water, enriched with aloe and hydrolates of cucumber, calendula, chamomile, and rose. Glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, and allantoin help maintain the skin’s moisture and comfort. The toner has a light, watery texture, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a noticeable sticky residue. It can be used both immediately after shaving and as a daily facial toner.
Directions for Use
Apply soap with a damp brush for about 10 seconds and work up a lather, gradually adding water. Do not pour water over the soap before use. After shaving, shake the bottle of toner, apply 5—7 drops to your palms, and spread it over your face and neck.
