For travel. The compact soap format and the kit setup make it practical when you want to take your shaving routine with you. After use, drain the soap pot and let the soap dry. Use the lid when travelling; between shaves, more air exposure helps the soap dry better.
Wet the brush, load a small amount of soap, and build lather in a few strokes. Apply the lather to the shaving area and shave as usual. Do not use blades with lubricating strips, as they may interfere with the lather during shaving.
