The name of the collection Puro Sangue («pure blood») is dedicated to the Portuguese horse breed Lusitano. This oldest riding breed in the world was bred in Portugal and is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The fragrance of the collection is captivating and noble, it is both strong and gentle, warming the soul and daring. It opens with freshness of citrus fruits — bergamot and lemon — and warmth of nutmeg. The heart notes are a bouquet of violets, cedar and powerful leather notes. Base notes combine the intensity of vetiver and patchouli with the sweetness of vanilla, tonka bean and powdery musk. The creator of the fragrance is Daphne Buguet, a French woman who works in Portugal.
