Description

The RazoRock Black Hawk is a razor suitable for special single-edge blades. These blades are thicker and sharper than standard double-edge ones, resulting in a more aggressive and cleaner shave. We recommend this razor for men with coarse facial hair.

The RazoRock Black Hawk razor consists of four parts. A two-piece head and a two-piece handle. If necessary, the handle can be shortened by 10 mm by unscrewing the base. All parts of the razor are made of lightweight, durable 6061 aluminum alloy and CNC machined.

Use the special single edge blades

Single edge razors are a hybrid between a t-razor and a straight razor, so they require special Single Edge (SE) blades. The Hawk razor does not come with blades.

Single edge blades are thicker and sharper than regular blades and last about twice as long: an average of 8—10 shaving sessions.

The manufacturer recommends the following blades:

You can also use blades with the razor:

  • Schick Proline — according to user reviews, these blades technically fit the razor.
  • Feather Super Pro — these blades have a longer reach, so more careful handling is needed
  • Feather Professional Super Blades — technically appropriate, but makes the razor very aggressive.

The manufacturer does NOT recommend using the Hawk with Feather Professional LIGHT blades — they will not fit.

How to use the RazoRock Black Hawk:

  1. Single edge blades are stiffer, sharper and thicker than double edges, so do not press down hard on the razor for a safe shave. Be extremely careful not to cut yourself.
  2. Do not use excessive force when changing blades or shortening the handle. Aluminum is softer than steel and may be damaged or deformed.
