The manufacturer has put a double meaning into the name Eco. It is both «economical» and «environmentally friendly». Like any other safety razor, using it is cheaper and more profitable than constantly buying and changing cartridges. In addition, the environment is not polluted by plastic, as it is if you constantly throw away disposable razors and replacement cartridges.
The razor is lightweight and maneuverable. When shaving with it, you should not press or force it to avoid cutting yourself. Hand movements should resemble those of shaving with a cartridge razor.
