The RazoRock Satin Silver Hawk is a silver colored razor made of lightweight 6061 grade aluminum alloy, CNC machined. It consists of four parts: a two-piece head and handle with a detachable base. If desired, the handle can be shortened by 10 mm by unscrewing the bottom part.
Use the special single edge blades
This razor requires special Single Edge (SE) blades, which are not included with the razor. SE blades are considerably thicker and sharper than ordinary double edge blades. They last approximately twice as long, with one blade lasting an average of 8—10 shaves.
The manufacturer recommends the following blades:
- Feather Professional Blade (aka Artist Club Professional)
- Feather Pro Guard Blade (aka Artist Club Pro Guard).
- KAI Captain Titan Mild (aka KAI Pinks).
- KAI Captain Titan Mild Protouch MG.
You can also use blades with the razor:
- Schick Proline — according to user reviews, these blades technically fit the razor.
- Feather Super Pro — these blades have a longer reach, so more careful handling is needed
- Feather Professional Super Blades — technically appropriate, but make the razor very aggressive.
The manufacturer does NOT recommend using the Hawk with Feather Professional LIGHT blades — they will not fit.
How to use RazoRock Satin Silver Hawk:
- Single edge blades are sharp and thick and are easier to cut than standard double edges. Therefore, do not put too much pressure on the razor when shaving.
- Aluminum is softer than steel, so do not use excessive force when disassembling the razor or the razor may be damaged.
