The L1++ version belongs to the L1 level but uses a stepped guard design for increased aggressiveness. It suits users who already use the Superslant system and want finer adjustment within the milder end of the range.
Superslant plates are built around a helical blade twist system. The manufacturer presents this design as a different approach from a conventional slant razor.
The plate is made of 316L stainless steel. The series uses a vibro-finished surface rather than a mirror polish, so visible milling or finishing marks can be present and are described by the manufacturer as normal for a working tool.
