The V3 has a smaller head than the previous V2 version, making it easier to make passes in the dimpled area above the upper lip, as well as near the earlobes. The closed comb makes the razor less aggressive and prevents scratches from the blade.
The stainless steel razor is much heavier than the Hawk’s aluminum models in black and silver tones. Equipped with an HD handle that can be changed to any other standard threaded handle, such as the longer Super Knurl.
Special blades are used for this razor. The manufacturer recommends Feather Professional Blade, Feather Pro Guard Blade, KAI Captain Titan Mild and Titan Mild Protouch MG Blade. For fans of aggressive shaving — Feather Professional Super Blade.
