Before shaving, soak the brush in warm water for a few minutes. Avoid excessive heat, as very hot water may irreversibly damage the bristles.
After shaving, rinse the knot thoroughly with clean warm water to remove all soap residue. Then gently squeeze the base of the knot, check that no residue remains inside, and brush the fibres lightly on a soft cloth. Let the brush dry completely on a stand or in a well-ventilated place. Allow full drying between uses; a complete drying cycle may take up to 48 hours.
