Tatara
Porcelain shaving bowl by the Portuguese brand Tatara. The porcelain is made according to traditional Portuguese technology, after which the bowl is immersed in a glazing bath, so it acquires an attractive luster and the spirit of the Japanese technique of hand-painted urushi lacquer bowls.
The bowl is comfortable, on a small foot, easy to hold with one hand. The inner surface has rounded, small protrusions. These allow the foam to be whipped faster and therefore stays warm longer.
Suitable for whipping up lather from any brand of cream, hard or soft soap.
In addition to the black colored bowl, Tatara produces the exact same one but in a lighter shade.
