Freshman fragrance comes from a time when men’s schools were still teaching style, one of William Truffitt’s first formulations for young gentlemen from Oxford and Cambridge created not for formal occasions and balls, but for everyday elegance.
Light, fresh, intellectual — this fragrance is universal, but sounds «expensive». There is no vintage in it; it smells like a fresh summer morning, energises and makes its owner stand out among colleagues and friends who wear monotonous commercial perfumes.
Freshman opens with an invigorating blend of citrus, mint and rosemary, like a morning in a seaside garden. The heart has light floral notes with a hint of sage, while the base is soft wood, moss and musk, which gives persistence and depth.
