The cardboard package contains 20 plastic boxes, each containing 5 blades in an individual wax paper sheath. Each blade has a standard size, which allows it to be used in the classic safety razors of all manufacturers. The plate is also easily broken along the long axis, after which the halves are inserted into the shavette razor and pressed down with clips.
What makes Wilkinson blades special is the wear-resistant three-layer protective coating:
- chrome — protects the stainless steel base from corrosion;
- Ceramic — gives additional strength to the composite coating;
- PTFE — reduces friction and thus provides a smooth glide, preventing skin irritation.
Thanks to the advanced coating, the blade edges remain smooth and sharp for longer than usual. The result is a comfortable wet shave every day.
