Yuzu is a citrus, a hybrid of Ichan lemon and tangerine, with a lumpy yellow rind and a strong citrus smell. It is the main character of the fragrance of Yuzu K2E shaving soap by American artisanal brand Ariana & Evans, and the Oscar-winning stars playing along with it: mandarin, grapefruit, bergamot, lotus, violet, mimosa, ylang-ylang, sandalwood and musk.
The soap is created with K2E base, beef fat, lanolin and emu oil (read more about bases here). It is whipped with a shaving brush in a jar or a special bowl. The foam turns out thick and lush, slippery, the razor moves easily on it. Due to the content of emu oil, scratches, even if they appear, quickly tighten and heal.
Among the components of the soap is goat’s milk, it slightly whitens and gives the face a fresh, healthy look. Vegetable oils soften, nourish, eliminate dryness, smooth wrinkles.
