Each plate retains its sharpness for up to 4—5 uses. The shave is smooth, without «gaps» or irritation. The blades are standard size, so they can be used to refill any T-shaped razor or shavette razor (just break the plate in half).
The cutting edge is very smooth and resilient. A thin layer of platinum on it prevents it from abrading too quickly. After two or three uses, turn the blade over to the other side.
