The Canadian manufacturer’s razor is made of anodized aluminum of the AS9100 standard, the same as some parts of spaceships and Mars rovers. Tolerances are a few thousandths of an inch. These results are achieved by anodizing rather than painting.
The razor has a closed comb and a medium level of aggressiveness. The virtually flat surfaces of the head hold the blade securely and it remains stationary. This ensures a smooth and effective shave without irritation.
Features of the Henson Medium razor
- The tungsten bushing on the bottom cover helps reduce friction during razor tightening and between the handle and baseplate, preventing wear and tear.
- The 30° handle angle does not cause discomfort during shaving. For beginners taking their first steps in wet shaving, this feature allows them to master it faster.
- The size of the defoamers is significantly larger than other shavers. During shaving, excess lather and stubble are easily removed through the larger lather traps. The razor does not clog and rinsing is less frequent. The risks of irritation are therefore minimized, because the number of wires across the skin is reduced.
- The blade reach is only 0.041—0.061mm, which is equal to the thickness of a human hair. This distinguishes it from the softer Henson Mild razor.
- Ergonomic long handle with horizontal notches, slightly tapered from the tip towards the head.
Together with the razor, the manufacturer recommends using Astra blades.
In addition to the razor in black, you can also buy a green, red, blue, silver razor or a shade of darkened metal.
Dimensions:
- Weight — 37 g;
- The clearance is 0.85 mm;
- The length of the handle is 95 mm.
