The special structure and the calibrated geometry make shaving extremely easy. The razor is designed so that the handle is at a 30° angle, so the wrist is not strained during shaving. The result is a more comfortable shaving experience.
The bristles are removed as close to the skin as possible. The base plate and cover are virtually flat, so the blade remains stationary and does not vibrate, and therefore does not damage the epidermis. The sharp edge protrudes 0.0013 inches — that’s only half the thickness of a human hair. The blade’s stable position and low reach minimize skin exposure while effectively shaving one day’s worth of stubble in a single pass.
The Henson Al-13 Mild razor is softer than the Henson Al 13 Medium, but almost as effective. Henson Al-13 Mild is more suitable for owners of sensitive, prone to irritation skin, both men and women. This razor is also recommended for beginners who have decided to switch to wet shaving, as well as for men with soft, not thick stubble.
The special structure of the lather traps allows you to shave virtually «on the go» for rinsing. Excess lather and shaved stubble exit through the enlarged foam vents. This eliminates the need to spend time rinsing the razor and, most importantly, helps protect your skin from irritation: the less often the razor is interrupted, the less your skin is traumatized because you have to make fewer passes with the razor.
According to the manufacturer’s recommendations, Astra blades fit the razor perfectly. On average, one pack of 5 blades is enough for a month.

Henson Al 13 is made of AS 9100 anodized aluminum, the standard used in aerospace manufacturing. It is moisture and rust resistant and will not corrode. The razor has an unlimited service life.
