Made in a bright shade of metallic blue. The color does not change over time, as the dye is soldered into the metal during the anodizing process.
The razor is characterized by a calibrated geometry and some design features. For example, the gap (the distance between the base plate and the cover) is 0.68 mm. This is quite a large value, most razors with such a gap are aggressive and suitable for shaving stiff bristles. But since Henson’s reach (the distance by which the blade edge protrudes beyond the shaving plane) is minimal and only half the thickness of a human hair, the razor is gentle on the skin. The risk of cutting yourself is minimal. It is therefore suitable for those with sensitive skin.
The blade is tightly sandwiched between the plates. It does not vibrate when shaving — another reason why there is no irritation with Henson Mild.
The position of the handle to the razor is such that during shaving the movements of the hand resemble those of a rake raking autumn leaves — so the wrist is not strained and the hand does not get tired.
The razor is well suited for users with fine bristles, for daily shaving, for shaving underarms, intimate area and sensitive female skin. For users with medium-hard bristles and 2—3 shaving sessions per week, Medium is more suitable, and if the bristles are coarse, it is better to use the 2022 model — Aggressive.
The kit comes with 5 Henson-RK blades. They last approximately one month. After using them, we recommend the large economy pack.
