The handle is made of brass, the head is made of die-cast zinc alloy, coated with a protective layer of chrome on top.
The size of the razor is compact, with a small handle, but it is heavy enough for its size — 65 g, so you do not need to make any effort when shaving. The razor shaves the stubble under its own weight.
The prototype for the Merkur 41C was a classic Gillette razor from 1904.
All double edge blades are suitable for the razor, both Merkur and other manufacturers.
