In 2016, Saponificio Varesino, an Italian premium men's cosmetics brand, produced their Cosmo shaving soap for the first time. The release was specifically timed to coincide with Cosmoprof, an international beauty and fashion industry exhibition. Five years later, the manufacturer updated the soap's formula, adding macadamia oil and illipe butter.
