1805 Shaving Soap is a true classic of British barbershop culture, created by Truefitt & Hill, the world’s oldest men’s barbershop. Provides smooth blade glide and minimizes skin irritation with a luxurious creamy lather.
The fragrance is masculine, with oceanic notes and top citrus tones on a base of sandalwood, cedar and musk.
The soap comes in a wooden bowl. When you run out of washer, you can change it — a spare unit is sold separately.
Before putting in new soap, rinse the container thoroughly, dry it. You can rub a little mineral oil on the inside. It is not recommended to use vegetable oil, as it may go rancid or become a breeding ground for bacterial growth.
