For regular shaving. The 5/8» blade width is a practical all-round size: it covers the main shaving areas confidently while staying nimble enough around the nose, ears, and chin. The full hollow grind adds the characteristic feedback of a traditional straight razor and supports a gentle, controlled stroke.
For users who want simpler maintenance. The 1.4034 stainless steel resists soaps, water, and steam well, so the razor is easier to clean and keep in order. The one-sided ribbed tang gives the fingers more support during the shave.
For careful work in tighter areas. The round point is a classic shape that suits most shaving situations and helps when working around the ears, nose, and dimples. Olive wood also handles moisture well, which makes it a practical handle material for a straight razor.
Strop the razor on leather before shaving. Apply shaving lather or shaving oil to the face, hold the razor with the open handle pointing away from you, and stretch the skin gently with your free hand. Set the blade at about a 30° angle and shave with smooth strokes, first with the grain and then against the grain if desired.
After shaving, rinse the blade with warm water, dab it dry with a cloth without touching the edge, and store it open until fully dry. Leave at least 48 hours between uses. If you will not use the razor for a longer period, apply a little acid-free oil.
