If the razor is used for long periods of time, especially with chrome plating, ring marks may form between the handle and the base plate due to mechanical stress. Over time, this process intensifies and can cause the chrome to delaminate. The protective cover prevents this process.
Suitable for most three-piece razors on the market, except for models with a wide hole in the base plate. For Merkur and Rex shavers in particular, we recommend choosing the wider black pad.
