The razor handle is made of brass and the head is made of ZAMAC alloy. All parts are chrome plated. The razor shaves the stubble efficiently while having a low aggressiveness. The R89 head is not only the base for this collection. The same head is used, for example, in the Muehle Rytmo razors. It is slightly less aggressive than the Muehle Rocca or its closest counterpart, the Merkur 34.
The 21 mm knotted shaving brush is packed with silver badger hair, one of the most expensive in the world, which is valued for its tactile properties: the tips are thin and soft, especially at the top, while the knot retains elasticity during work without injuring the skin. This pile absorbs water abundantly and retains heat well. This brush is very comfortable to use.
