Saponificio Varesino Desert Vetiver is a shaving soap with Balanites oil (Desert Date), making a delicate and thick foam. Suitable for all skin types.
The formula of the soap is based on vegetable fats. It is almost the same as in Saponificio Varesino Cubebe shaving soap, but instead of monoi, it contains wild desert date oil and carnauba wax. Thanks to the wax, the lather coats the skin like a protective film. The date oil eliminates redness and heals cuts, if they do occur due to improper shaving technique.
The soap easily forms a creamy foam. To whip it, the manufacturer recommends using a bowl and a shaving brush with a badger pile, but any other material will do. For example, if you have a sensitive skin prone to acne and pimples, it is better to use a fiber one.
The scent of the soap is masculine and intriguing. Multifaceted vetiver flavored with a mixture of spices — black pepper, fresh cloves and amber.
