For home and professional use, using a pre-cut blade makes installing the blade into the razor more convenient, easier and safer. The main difference between Dorco Blue Razor Blades and Dorco Prime (red) blades is the steel: for the red ones, Japanese stainless steel is used.
Interesting fact: Dorco double edge blades of the Prime (premium quality) version have blue packaging. However, in half blades, the term Prime is reserved for blades with red packaging.
