Thiers-Issard Le Chatellerault Bocote is a dangerous razor made in France. The blade is made of hand-forged steel from the early 20th century, but it has been processed using modern equipment. The sharpening is hollow, the blade is flexible and can handle bristles of any stiffness. It is satin-finished, giving the surface a satin look and additional protection against rust.
There are serrations on the bottom of the shank to prevent the razor from slipping in your hands.
When storing the razor, make sure that it does not get wet. Use oil to lubricate the blade between shaving sessions. Use a special strap for straightening.
Dimensions:
- The blade is 4/8 inch wide.
