The bowl is perfectly compatible with Mitchell’s Wool Fat, Haslinger, Lea, Truefitt & Hill 75g shaving soap.
The bowl will not fit the new bars of Saponificio Varesino, Noberu of Sweden, Baume.be, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Truefitt & Hill 99g and Antigua Barbearia de Bairro. However, after a few uses, the bowl will fit them as well.
The jar can be used as a travel container: it is convenient to squeeze shaving cream from a tube or aftershave balm into it — just as much as you need for your trip.
The jar is also suitable as a whipping bowl.
